We descended on them later than we had planned to and with more people than we expected. But were greeted with smiles and a very friendly and inviting reception. Everyone in our party was treated to excellent service and I am still hearing rave reviews about the food, from our guests that evening. Evidently the Fish Tacos are fabulous! But so are the many traditional British dishes that were flying out of the kitchen as fast as we could order!
I've been to dozens and dozens of pubs in the USA and the UK, and this is one if the best. Ever. It's easy to forget where you are after being inside and starting your meal. The food is authentic, and everything is made in-house, including the Scotch eggs. Great beer selection! I recommend this place highly.
Ambiance: It's a dark bar. If you are planning to drink and have a good time with your friends. Warning, the food is really heavy. You may not finish your plate of food.
Rating: If I could I want to give Buchanan Restaurant and Pub 3.5 stars.

We had a party there recently where our guest list kept changing right up until the event. But nothing seemed to alter the owner's or the staff's kind and professional service toward us.
Most pubs in the US have great beer lists and mediocre food, not this one! Everything was simply excellent. Thanks, Ron and Julie!
I first ordered the Roast Beef but I had to send it back. It tasted very game-y. The mashed potatoes and peas were okay. Decent.
A full bar and a sharp bartender made our festive gathering all the more jolly. Going back for another Jameson and coffee real soon! :)
Food: Good to very good. The Fish and Chips is really good. Bridies and Chips was solid, but nothing to write home about.
Service: Excellent. Our server was super polite and friendly. We couldn't ask for better. Truly.
Great Pub! Awesome British food, well cooked and served by wonderful staff. Attached is the Piccadilly shop with all kinds of imported food & goods from the UK.
