First off, you must check out their parent store, "Bearded Lady Vintage" diagonally across the street. They're an antique shop specializing in the strange, macabre, morbid, etc. "Bearded Lady's Mystic Museum", also has some antiques, but there is a lot of artwork and newer items. You can find a lot of fan merchandise for horror films here. But their claim to fame is the museum in the back. It's less a museum and more of an art gallery. I went when they had their Twin Peaks exhibit open, and while it was AMAZING, I felt a bit weird having to pay $5 to go back there. Especially where I wanted to buy prints that I can't afford in the first place, haha. But this is a special place, so if that's what is needed to keep them in business, so be it. The artwork in the museum gets 5+ stars!!!! Bravo!!! The store itself isn't too big.

Kind regards, Gideon.

I think whether or not this place is cool depends on if you like their current exhibit. However, I would for sure check this place out and DON'T MISS their antique store across the street!

So much fun and weirdness. Make sure to buy a ticket to the back room for even more oddities and rotating art installations. Worth a trip!

NOT a museum. It's a store. You know the place you go into to buy things. $10 for a "museum" that's not a museum. A bunch of pimple faced clerks following me around pretending to clean up and organize thinking I was going to steal. You know like when you go into the liquor store and you notice the Korean shop clerk staring at you out of the corner of here eye. Like what am I going to steal here? There's nothing but junk, man! Useless garbage. Really. So I looked around real hard. Made sure to get my moneys worth. Tried to be as annoying and in the way as possible. Boring. I had moderate hopes for this place too. You know like about 3 stars worth of expectation. Free. Free should be the price. So if you are going to visit spend no less than 30 minutes and try to get your hard earned moneys worth. Try. Yes it means perusing through their aisles over and over and over again looking at the same boring junk but still. I wouldn't recommend.

So I was really excited when I recommended this place to my group when we were visiting this state for the first time. We happily dropped the money on the tickets for the back room museum and I was stoked to see more awesome oddities like from the place next door. They had some kind of wedding going on that they were setting up for but the person at the front desk who sold us the tickets to the museum told us that it shouldn't be a problem. Then we got to the back and only saw a small room with really expensive old VHS tapes that you can't touch and old Halloween memorabilia. I was really excited by the reviews and I really felt like I was let down by this place and my group didn't find anything else of interest in the back room either. Would have rather spent the money to buy a taxidermy bat or something like that, but instead my entire group left the place feeling pretty ripped off. Maybe I was doing it wrong?

This place is amazing. Shop full of novelties and for $10 more, a one of a kind museum of Oujia boards, halloween costumes and a genuine replica of a 1980s video store. A Must See!
