This is a very busy place but it has a huge amount of floor space so you feel like you’re in a shopping mall. The store has a greeter and is for the most part very clean and organized. They sell shoes, clothes, fashion accessories, and all that you would expect at a store like this. They can be a little pricey as they target higher end consumers and professionals. They have a good selection of apparel and you can always ask salespeople if you need to find something.

This store also has a very unorganized work flow with their check-out system. I always wait in line forever because they process returns in the same line too. After each return the cashiers take extra time to process them, and put the returned items in a designated section. Why can't that all be done through one designated person, or at least at a time that there are not tons of people in line to check out? At one point more returns were being processed than transactions. Since returns take longer there was more wait time for paying customers. Does not make sense when a business goal is to make money. Nordstrom needs to stop babying their customers, esp the ones who just take advantage of the returns. They make the shopping experience much less enjoyable for customers who intended to keep what they purchase.
OMG, where to I start first?! I have never been to a retail discount store with such a friendly staff then Nordstrom Rack in Burbank! They were all SO wonderful and helpful! My daughter and I were on a frustrating shopping mission for weeks trying to find the perfect dress for her Sweet 16 BD and after becoming exhausted from the idea of shopping it came to us that we did not go here. We ended up having 15 possibilities and narrowed it down to one perfect dress. They even offered to alter it for us in the places that we needed and it was done in such a beautiful way within 5 days. I am hooked!!

The store itself is great and well-stocked. But the customer service is terrible and that's why I am leaving such a negative review. While I was in line on a Saturday afternoon one of the cashiers kept pulling out his phone to text. At one point he grabbed his phone, walked off to the side and kept texting. The line for check-out was very long. It really agitated me that an employee was so obsessed with their messages instead of doing their job and just holding up the line. When he walked back to the register he grabbed the little green flag and waved it in the air for the next guest to check-out, but was looking down on his phone the entire time while doing it. A woman before that even walked up because she thought he said next guest, he looked at her and said that he did not say anything. She went back in line. When Nordstrom "prides" itself on exceptional customer service, why is this guy working there? Pathetic. I strongly suggest that a manager look at the day's footage to see what that employee was doing. He should be fired immediately. I was there on Nov 4th and was checking out around 1:25 pm.
